What your result means
- Gross speed is everything you typed, divided by 5 characters per word and by the minutes in the test.
- Net speed is what is left after each full mistake takes away 5 characters and each half mistake 2.5.
- Accuracy is net characters as a share of gross characters. Punjab government tests usually ask for at least 92%.
Below 15 words per minute, spend your time on the lessons rather than on tests. Between 15 and 25, follow the plan in how to increase Punjabi typing speed. Above 25, take full PSSSB mock tests every second day.
Typing on a phone?
Tap On-screen keyboard during the test to type with the INSCRIPT layout on screen. It is useful for learning the layout, but the real test is on a computer, so do most of your practice on a physical keyboard.
